Disabled Access

Heartlands Location

There is level access throughout the ground floor. This allows entry to all conference rooms and lecture theatre facilities without the need for lifts or ramps. (All conference facilities are located on the ground floor of the building)

Parking

Parking spaces are available within a few metres of the main entrance to the Education Centre building. There is a ramp to provide easy access to the building and into the reception area.

Car park surface is tarmac – Ramp is concrete.

Please refer to the sitemap and follow the green line for instructions on how to locate the disabled parking area from main hospital entrance.

Facilities

The Education Centre entrance is equipped with an easy access ramp and provides quick and efficient entry to the main reception area from the disabled car park.

Equipment

Several rooms including the large lecture theatre are equipped with height adjustable and easy access computer tables and presentation lecterns.

A hearing loop system available in the main lecture theatre
